Watching Live Earth

According to the official web site, you can watch the Live Earth concerts on MSN. Here’s a list of artists playing the various concerts, the first of which is being held in Australia and actually begins at 9pm east coast time in the US tonight.

I am most interested to see Metallica’s performance from London. They apparently have some new material — hopefully it’s different from St. Anger — that they have been performing at concerts the last few months. Some of it has been showing up on YouTube.

And in conclusion, go and save the environment, won’t you?

We all make mistakes. That said, I found this hilarious.

Al Gore’s son was arrested early Wednesday on suspicion of possessing marijuana and prescription drugs after deputies pulled him over for speeding, authorities said.

Al Gore III, 24, was driving a blue Toyota Prius about 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway when he was pulled over at about 2:15 a.m., Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jim Amormino said.

Well, this is one way to help his dad get more publicity for hybrid cars…
